WARNING UNHEEDED
MOTORIST DROVE WILDLY AND KILLED FOUR NEW YORK, June 8. Celebrating Memorial Day in Jersey City, Martin Arsenvig drove his car so wildly that he was served with a summons to appear in court on a charge of reckless driving. On the way home he became involved in a triple collision which caused the deaths of four women. He himself escaped injury. Arsenvig had turned out to pass a truck, and collided with another car coming in the opposite direction. Forty persons were killed in various celebration accidents throughout the United States.
