Ey Telegraph—Copyright —Press As.

SYDNEY, Last Night.

Advice has been received that Sir Charles Kingsford Smith will definitely be a competitor in the Centenary ■race as the whole of the money required to purchase the Lockheed Altair machine has been received, the final instalment being obtained from the sale of the Codock monoplane which is now employed between Sydney and Newcastle for commercial purposes.

Sir Charles Kingsford Smith’s machine will be shipped by the Mariposa on June 27, the waterfront strikers having agreed to load it.
