To-day’s Weather Forecast

STOBM MOVING AWAY

SCATTERED LIGHT RAIN (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The general inference is that the storm controlling the weather for the past few days is now moving away eastward. A moderate anti-cyelone covers the Tasman Sea, but the pressure has fallen considerably over the eastern portion of Australia. The forecast is for moderate to fresh southerly winds, gradually decreasing; weather cold and cloudy to overcast, with scattered light rain, but improving; seas showing a considerable swell.
