GOOD-BYE KISS

WOMAN STOPPED TRAIN INCIDENT IN MELBOURNE MELBOURNE, June 6. As the 4.50 train to Bendigo was moving from Spencer Street station yesterday, a woman rushed excitedly on to the platform and signalled that she wished to have the train stopped. The stationmaster, much surprised by the unusual request, acted promptly, and brought the train to a standstill.

Then the woman made her way to a carriage window framing a feminine head and kissed the passenger good-bye.

Next, she turned to the bewildered stationmaster and said:

“Thank you so much for your kind consideration.’’

The stationmaster, loth to disturb this impression of good nature, kept his feelings, which were deep, to himself.
