For the representative Rugby match to be played on Saturday in Waipukurau between the Puketoi and Central Hawke’s Bay teams, Mr G. H. Voyce (Otane) has been appointd as referee, while Mr C. H. Woodward will handle the Curtain-raiser fixture, a junior match, Omakere v. Waipukurau. The first match is at 1.15 p.m. and the second at 2.45 p.m. THE OMAKERE TEAM The Omakere team to play the Waipukurau juniors on Saturday at Waipukurau will be as follows: —L. Dixon, D. Sutherland, R. Osborne, T. Chute, T. Alloway' T. Davis, D. Orr, J. McHardy, R. Petherick, A. Watts, B. Wallace, J. MacFarlane, H. Phair, Brewster, S. Williams, L. Campbell, J. Dixon, Murdock and Christensen. Meredith, sole selector to the Auckland Rugby Union and also a member of the New Zealand Rugby Union’s selection committee, for places in the North Island and Inter-Island trial matches, prior to the choosing of the All Black team to tour Australia at the end of next months: —Forwards: W.
