£107,875 DISTRIBUTED
SINCE JANUARY LAST YEAR

WELLINGTON, This Day.
The Minister of Internal Affairs announced to-day that since January, 1933, £107,875 had been distributed as a result of art unions.
The amount is made up as follows: —Agricultural and pastoral societies, £8550; charitable and philanthropic purposes, £76,500; domains, £5225; halls and libraries, £3300; national undertakings, £4800; Prospectors’ Association, £2550; sports bodies, etc., £6350.
