(Per Press Association). WELLINGTON ,Thjs Day. The executive of the Wellington Provincial Council of the New Zealand Poultry Association at its recent meeting passed the following resolution: — j

“In the opinion of this executive the menace of chilled and preserved eggs being marketed as fresh eggs demands immediate and drastic action on the part of the* New; Zealand Poultry Board.” ’ It was alleged that chilled eggs were finding their way into the hands of dealers as fresh eggs, and were being retailed as such, also that the mixing of preserved, new laid and chilled eggs was being practiced.
