To-day’s Weather Forecast

INTENSE ANTI-CYCLONE SOUTHERLY WINDS & SHOWERS (Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. The general inference is that the recent slow-moving depression is now giving way to a rather intense anti-cyclone which covers the Tasman Sea and the ocean area to the north of it. The forecast is for moderate to fresh southerly winds, weather cloudy to overcast, with scattered showers, hut mainly on the coast, and conditions gradually improving; seas rather rough.
