WALNUT PATTIES Ingredients: One cupful of walnuts. One egg. One cupful of sugar.' Five tablespoonfuls of flour. Beat the egg well and add the sugar, very lightly. Into this stir the walnuts (finely chopped), then add the flour. Drop on to greased tins with a teaspoon. Make these patties about the size of macaroons, and bake in a moderately hot oven for about ten minutes.
