Waipukurau District High SUCCESSFUL FIXTURE TO-DAY KEEN HOUSE COMPETITION The Waipukurau District High School’s annual sports were held on Russell Park to-day in perfect weather. The fixture, ably organised by the stall under the direction of the headmaster (Mr. C. J. McLean) proved completely successful. There was keen interest in the house competitions, the primary department being divided into four houses and the secondary into two, each house being distinguished by a particular colour. There were also championship events for both primary and secondary departments. Parents, teachers and scholars alike displayed keen interest in the events, many of which were very closely contested.
