LEAVES FOR DANNEVIRKE ROUGH WEATHER MET WITH (Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. Sir Charles Kingsford-Smith, with Mr. A. W. Nisbet, of the Wellington Aero Club, as second pilot, and the members of the Southern Cross crew, also Mr. W. M. Dawson, radio expert, left the Wellington flying 1 ground, in very unfavourable weather at ten o’clock for Dannevirke. A feature of the flight is that a trial is being made of radio telephonic communication with the ’plane.
