The Waipukurau Market LARGE ENTRY OF CATTLE SMALL YARDING OF SHEEP At the Waipukurau stock sale today there was a larger yarding of cattle than has been the case for some time, but the sheep entry was smaller. Tho cattle were unfinished sorts, chiefly of mixed breeding. Cow beef sold at prices on a par with those “obtaining at recent sales, while steer beef was perhaps a shade better. Lambs were a shade easier. Fat Cattle A pen of 5 medium Jersey steers passed at £2 18/6; 2 P.A. and 2 P.A.Hereford cross cows, medium condition /made £2 18/6; 2 light P.A. heifers £3 15/-; 5 medium Hereford cows £2 10/-; 1 heifer and 1 cow.
