National Association MEETING AT TRENTHAM CANTERBURY MATCH RESULT (Per Press Association) TRENTHAM, This Day. The annual matches for the King’s Prize were advanced a further stage at the meeting of the National Rifle Association at Trentham this morning. When the marksmen assembled at the squadding posts lor the day’s shooting, rain was falling, but, as the morning advanced, the weather took a turn for the better. The Canterbury match (ten rounds at 300 yards) was completed during the morning, the winner being C. J. Nix (Featherston) who scored the possible, for which he collected the first prize of £7. R. H. Nicholl (Petone) was runner-up.
