Swallowed a Nail

A record unexpected rapid flight was made by a Dannevirke airman recently, not in the air but for a doctor. While engaged in his ordinary avocation and when talking to a friend he had the misfortune to swallow a nail about an inch long. He immediately dropped his tools and streaked away for medical assistance, but despite an intense and thorough search the missing nail proved most elusive and defied all attempts at location. The swallower is still alive and so far has experienced no inconvenience.
