OBITUARY

MRS. JESSIE CAMPBELL The death occurred at the Waipukurau Public Hospital on Saturday morning, of Mrs. Jessie Campbell, nee McLennan, of Tikokino, relict of the late Mr. Neil Campbell. Born at Stronaway, Rosshire, Scotland, 8.4 • years ago, Mrs. Campbell, with her husband and family, came to New Zealand over 60 years ago in the ship “Haluone.” They settled first at Napier, but a few years later moved to Tikokino. The late Mrs. Campbell was deeply respected by all who had the privilege of her acquaintance and the sincere sympathy of the district is extended to her bereaved family. Mrs. Campbell leaves two daughters and five sons:—Mrs. Jessie Verran (Wellington), Mrs, Robert Ritchie (Australia),, Messrs. Colin and Alec Campbell (Tikokino), William and Neil (Omakere) and Jack. (There was a large assemblage at the funeral, which was held on Sunday afternoon, the Rev. J. Robertson, of Waipawa, officiating.
