SHAMELESS AVOWAL

SAYS MR. WINSTON CHURCHILL DISLOYAL STUDENTS LONDON, February 24. Ahat abject, squalid, shameless avowal,’’ is how the Rt. Hon. Winston Churchill describes the resolution of the Oxford Union, adopted by 275 votes to 153, “that this House will in no circumstances fight for King and country." He adds: “One can almost feel the curl of contempt on the lips of the manhood of Continental peoples when they read this message sent out in the name of young England." The. president of the union says he knows who the raiders ■were who tore the page containing the resolution from the minute book and says it will be re-written. The raiders have intimated in reply that if it is re-written it will again be removed and that they will keep on if they have to rip every page out of the book.
