Consumption affected by usual Lent season but remains satisfactory. Lightweight twos very firm and are making higher prices than ordinary twoS. Mutton Market: Wethers, demand slow, but prices remain steady owing to small spot stocks. Ewes, slightly easier with trade slow. Beef Market: Demand slow' owing to lower prices of Argentine chilled beef. N.Z. Porker Pigs: Prices easier
owing to heavier supplies. N.Z. Baconer Pigs: Trade slow.
