NON-AMERICAN ARTISTS TVHOLESALE EXODUS FORECAST LOS ANGELES, January 28. The wholesale exodus of foreign film talent from Hollywood was forecast to-day by Dlr Murray AV. Garsson, special assistant to the United States Secretary of Labour, who announced that all foreign actresses, actors and technicians were under scrutiny. Mr Garsson lias inaugurated a. long heralded Government drive by -arrest ing John Farrow, screen writer and familiar figure at the film colony’s social gatherings, on a charge of overstaying his leave. Farrow is said to be a native of Australia and was alleged first to have entered the United States ns a seaman. His screen plays include “The Wheel of Life,” “'The Wolf Song,” “Ladies of the Mob” and “The Woman from IMoseov/'’ "Mr Garsson said that he nail begur questioning Miss Maureen O'Sullivan, the Irish actress, in connection with the arrest of Farrow.
