OLD BOYS BEAT EPARAIMA
PLAY ON SATURDAY
The Central Hawke’s Bay Cricket Sub-Association’s competitions were continued on Saturday, when Old Boys concluded their match with Eparaima at Wallingford, winning by an innings and 10 7 runs.
On the first day's play Old Boy had compiled 199 lor the loss of onl; three wickets, but the tail, compaia tively, failed badly, the team bein; dismissed for 242. Lumsden, whos< score stood at 109 had added sevei when he was bowled by A. S. Wilder Other successful batsmen were Spencer 42, A. Smales 39, and XV .Monteith 20. A. S. Wilder took I wickets for 58 runs. Eparaima went for 51 in their firs ii nings and 84 in their second. R L. wilder, with 32 in the second inn iugs, was the most successful bats man.
