Car’s Drop of 30 Feet

LITTLE GIRL FATALLY HURT

OTHERS SLIGHTLY INJURED

(Per Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night.

As a result of a car plunging over a 30-foot bank on Stronyhurst Road, in North Canterbury!! Shirley Jean Waller, aged three and a-half, was fatally injured.

Mr. E. C. Waller, and his wife and four children, were en route to Happy Valley to spend the week-end, when the accident occurred. Waller suffered a fractured shoulder. Mrs. Waller and the other three children sustained cuts and bruises.
