WAIPUKURAU SUCCESSES
The following pupils at the Waipukurau District High School were successful in passing the senior free place examination held in November* last rear: —
Tom Bendeich, Jean Bennett, Jean Fowler, Bruce Haswell, James Jamieson. Leslie Marfell, Stanley Murphy, Errol Robertson, Pat Sharpin, Doris Thomson, lan Walker.
There were 13 candidates and the
11 passes secured, constitute a very satisfactory result.
Higher Leaving Certificates
Winne Lourie and Phillip James, also pupiis at the Waipukurau District High School, were successful in gaining higher leaving cerificates.
