Air Macmillan, already has experience of Public, Works administration, for during Mr Coates’s absence at Ottawa he temporarily took that portfolio during an interesting stage of the Arapuni breakdown and the final restorative work. Air ALaemdlenruiv * somewhat) sensational entry into politics ten years ago. when Sir Joseph Ward contested Tauranga in nil effort to return into public lite, but was defeated by Mr AFacmillan. whoso long local record as a county councillor, Mayor of Tauranga and an active dairy association director gave him a considerable advantage. Air Alacmillan entered the Coalition Ministry following the 1932 general election which saw the defeat of (no then Minister of Agriculture, Mr David Jones.
