FORCED DOWN
AX AMPHIBIAN PLANE FIVE PASSENGERS UNH I KT MELBOURNE, January 26. A tri-motored amphibian, flying from King Island to Melbourne todav. was forced down in heavy seas running between Lome and the Wye River. The 'plane was beached and the five passengers were unhurt though, the machine was damaged.
