Motorists Sentenced SUPREME COURT SITTING CHRISTCHURCH CASES (Per Press- Association) ' CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Prisoners sentenced were:-— Alfred William ’ Perrow (32), , salesman, for reckless driving and causing-, death near Ashburton, 18 months hard labour. Abraham Leonard Talbot (22) for negligent driving of a lorry and causing death, was fined £3O, also placed on probation for a term, and disqualified from driving for three years. Charles Firth Woodhead,' ex-solici-tor, for theft of £4 94 and £B5, eighteen months’ reformative detention; William Thomas Lindsay, exWaipara County Clerk for forgery of voting papers, was ordered to come up for sentence if called upon within 12 months.
