FINE CONDITIONS The following is the weather fore cast for 24 nours from 9 a.m. thn day and issued at noon:— The indications are for variable and moderate breezes; northerly moderate prevailing. There is a prospect of fine weathr, edays bright and nights cold. The barometer is falling slowly. MILD TEMPERATURES Following is the Government meteox ologist’s weather report and fore cast, issued last night:— An intense anti-cyclone has continued to cover New Zealand, while a depression in the south-west Tasman Sea appears to have been weakening. Moderate southerly to easterly winds north of New Plymouth and Napier; elsewhere light and variable, but tending northerly and later freshening somewhat in the south. Seas smooth to moderate in Now Zealand waters. Light to moderate north winds in the eastern Tasman Sea, with smooth to moderate seas. Weather fine generally, with cold night but mild day temperatures.
