Service Drivers’ Consideration

14. has been claimed at times that service cars do not show due consideration for other motorists, but this certainly does not apply to the service car drivers operating in North Taranaki to-day. All are most reasonable. A motorist coming from Waitara to New Plymouth recently very much appreciated the action of the driver of a large white bus —action which might reasonably be followed by motorists generally. The larger vehicle came close up behind the car near the approach to a bridge and recognising that the glare of his lights would be too trying to the driver of the car the service -but driver promptly dimmed his own lights, thus enabling the car to take the turn on to and across the bridge without risk.
