. RESIGNATION IN A BODY -(Per Press Association) GREYMOUTH, Last Night. The Grey District Local Unemployment Committee decided unanimously at a full meeting to-day to resign. The Mayor, Mr Grecnslade, stated that the committee had resigned until they saw their position defined. They wore not receiving the information from the Unemployment Board which they required and considered that the committee did not sufficiently obtain the board’s confidence to carry on with any degree of security. The explanation of the Minister of Employment regarding allocations was not satisfactory. The dual control of expenditure locally xvas unsatisfactory and the committee was unable to use any initiative.
