It appears that two temporary residents upon the hill decided to break leave on Saturday evening last and quite unknown to themselves or the doctor, used the latter's car as their means of conveyance on their hazardous journey to temporary freedom in the nearby town. This was easily dene by appealing to the first car which came along, for a lift—a car driven by the doctor's wife going to visit friends! It is said that the surprise occasioned the two adventurous gentlemen next morning on discovering and recognising the car they had ridden in, was only equalled by the’ doctor’s annoyance that his own car was used for the purpose of avoiding his own rules of conduct, prescribed for the well-being of those concerned.
