By Central H.B. Power Board RESOLUTION OF CONDOLENCE WITH EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS Prior to the commencement of this morning's meeting of the Central Hawke’s Bay Electric Power Board at Waipukurau, the chairman, Mr. A. C. Russell, referred in feeling terms to the terrible disaster that had overtaken the Hawke’s Bay province, and the great loss of life and property that, had taken place as the result of the earthquake, and moved the following resolution: “That the members of the Central Hawke’s Bay Electric Power Board, representing the people in the various local authorities within the Board’s area wish to extend to the bereaved relatives of those who lost their lives in the recent earthquake disaster, heartfelt sympathy in their great loss, and trust that they will bear up bravely under their great sorrow.’’ The resolution was carried in silence, the members standing.
