Two Burglaries

ACTIVITIES AT ELTHAM

WINE AND SPIRITS STOLEN

(Per Press Association)

ELTHAM, Last Night.

On Friday night the premises of Velvin and Gyde, grocers, and G. H. Mann, wine and spirit merchant, were entered by burglars and stock and cash taken from both places. Entry was made by smashing a panel in the front door in each case. At the grocery shop 22s 6d was taken from the till, but the safe was undisturbed. Mr. Mann lost over a dozen bottles of spirits and a few pounds from the till.
