AUCKLAND, Last Night

A verdict of guilty of bigamy was returned by the jury at the trial in the Supreme Court of James Joseph Groonotte,. aged 4 2 years, a hairdresser.

The allegation was that on November 24, 1913. accused married Fanny Tichborne at Johannesburg and that while she was still living, he went through a form of marriage with Eva'Hill, at Palmerston North, on February 9, 192 7. Sentence was deferred.
