THE TAKAPAU CLUB.
BOGEY MATCH PLAYED. Under rather unfavourable weather conditions on Saturday afternoon the members of the Takapau Golf Club played a bogey match on the home links, for a trophy presented by Mrs Sydney Johnston. The best cards returned were as follow: — L. White, 1 down. J. O’Dowd, 1 down. S. F. Stevens, 1 down. W. Davies, 1 down. W. Aldrich, 3 down.* M. McDonnell, 3 down. A. Fraser, 5 down. G. Stubbs, 5 down. H. H. Edwards, 5 down. T. Prescott, 5 down. E. Chadwick, 5 down. C. C. Callender, 6 down. D. Heperi, 6 down. Dr. Fahey, 6 down. J. Caughley, 7 down. S. Ropata, 7 down. W. Hobson, 8 down. G. “Davies, 8 down. The first four players, with one down each, played another 18 holes and the trophy went to S. F. Stevens, with 3 up.
