A Bin-hand’s Death
CRUSHED BY TRUCKS.
FATALITY AT COAL-MINE

GREYMOUTH, Last Night
An accident resulting fatally occurred at 11 a.m. to-day at the Blackball mine bins.
The victim, Samuel Glasson, aged 50, a single man, after uncoupling two trucks, stepped back and was crushed between advancing trucks and a bin pillar, sustaining a fractured pelvis and other injuries from which he died at 6.20 p.m. in the Greymouth hospital. Ho was a native of Kumara and had been for many years a bin hand at Blackball.
