In arranging a sub-committee to revise the annual schedule, attention was drawn for the need of caution in arranging the prize list, and was even suggested that the cash prizes should he reduced to a minimum. ' It was pointed out by Mr Kibblewhite that the Society hud a credit

balance of £375, and in view of the fact that several generous supporters, notably the late Sir George Hunter, and Mr J. D. Several members supported the suggestion and it was moved in the form of a recommendation to the schedule committee.

A special sub-committee comprising Messrs R. P. Wilder, T. E. Whelch, J. D. Todd, L. M. Monckton, and J. H. White was set up to attend to the horse, cattle, sheep, dog, poultry and produce sections.
