WELLINGTON, This Day.

The Court of Appeal this morning made an order striking Robert George Gardiner* Bain off the rolls of practising barristers and solicitors of the Dominion of New Zealand. Counsel for the Law Society, Mr Fee, said that Bain formerly resided in Gisborne but recently he had been convicted on numerous charges of theft from various clients and at present was serving a term of reformative detention for twelve months. The amount involved in these charges totalled £271 12/6. An order was made for payment of fifteen guineas costs to the Law Society.
