CENTRAL H.B. SUB-UNION OFFICIAL OPENING ON SATURDAY The official opening of the Central Hawke’s Bay Rugby Football SubUnion’s 1930 season will take place on Saturday afternoon, commencing at 3 o'clock. , The fixtures to be played at, Central Park, Waipukurau, are High School Old Boys seniors v. Takapau. Owing to the fact that Te Ante College is at present closed for the holidays the College has forfeited its two senior games. As a consequence the Waipukurau senior team will now play its junior fifteen, on the N 0.2 ground. Other fixtures will be Onga Onga seniors v. Waipawa at Onga Onga. The junior fixtures ar# Onga Onga v. Waipawa, at Waipawa, and High School Old Boys v. Tikokino at Tikokino at 3 p.m. FIXTURES AND REFEREES. SATURDAY’S APPOINTMENTS. The following are the referees appointed to control the matches in the opening games of the fixtures in the Central Hawke’s Bay Rugby SubUnion competitions on Saturday: — Senior Grade, 2.45 p.m. Onga Onga v. Waipawa, at Onga Onga. Mr P. Logan. H. 5.0.8. v. Takapau, at Waipukurau. Mr L. Cuff or th. Te Ante v. Waipukurau, at Waipukurau by default. Junior Grade, 2.30 p.m. Onga Onga v. Waipawa, at Waipawa. Mr W. Hobin. H. 5.0.8. v. Tikokino, at Tikokino. Mr T. Spencer. Te Ante v. Waipukurau, Waipukurau by default.
