Waipukurau School
PRIZES TO BE PRESENTED REWARD FOR YEAR’S WORK At. the Municipal Theatre on Friday afternoon, the annual prize-giving ceremony of the Waipukurau District High School is to take place. There is a lengthy list of pupils who have gained awards for the high standard of work that they have done during the past year, and the ceremony will be an interesting and memorable one for pupils, teachers and parents. Scheduled to commence at 2.30 o’clock the prizes will be distributed by Mrs G. Black, wife of the chairman of the School Committee. As this is one of the most interesting days in the school year for the children, there can be little doubt that there will be a large number of parents present.
