Endurance Swimming
WOMEN’S RECORD BROKEN Australian and N.Z. Press Association NEW YORK, Aug. 18. A message from Colton, California, states that Mrs La Fourier established a world’s women’s endurance swimming record of 56 hours 56J minutes to-day, bettering the previous record by 88i minutes. She commenced at 6 o’clock in the morning.
