- <s> ‘‘SWIM, GIRL, SWIM” Bebc Daniels is back again in a farce that’ll make picture patrons forget every college comedy they’ve seen. Even better than “the Campus Flirt!” Now she is in a picture of college sports, “Swim, Girl, Swim,” which will be screened in the Municipal Theatre to-morrow (Saturday) night. Here she is shown as an expert swimmer, and her training comes from Gertrude Ederle, first woman to swim the English Channel, who has an important role in support of the star. The second attraction will be “Hard-Boiled Haggerty,” Milton Sills’ latest starring picture, which is notable for the lact that it contains not only a powerful characterisation for the star, hut unusually strong and effective ones for many other story characters. Molly O’Day plays opposite the star in the role of a French girl of mystery, with whom Haggetry falls in love. Much comedy, and a burden of tense drama as well as the romantic side of the picture falls upon this very capable and attractive little actress.
