COURT OF APPEAL
OPENING SESSION!
(Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, To-day.
The Court of Appeal commenced its session this morning. In the absence of the Chief Justice (Sir Charles Skerrett), who is. still confined to hospital, the Acting-Chief Justice presided. Other judges in attendance are: Their Honours Justices Reed, Ostler, Blair, . and Smith.
The Court granted an application to strike John Henry Victor Mansill, of Auckland, off the roll of practising solicitors. Attention was drawn to the fact that Mansill had recently pleaded giulty to several charges .of theft and one of forgery. Mr A. R. Meek appeared for the Auckland Law Society, which was allowed £l5/15/costs.
