ENTERTAINING EVENTS.

Olive Borden, the dark-eyed Virginia girl, star of the Fox films version of “The Country Beyond,” by James Oliver Curwood, is to delight a local audience at Everybody’s Pictures tomorrow night. She is a fascinating personality in the role of Valencia, a French-Canadian girl of the Northland’s primitive forests. In the earlier sequences, where she appears Im old-fashioned garments, she is a quaint little figure with a native talent for dancing. Later on, when one sees her in the spotlight of a music-box revue, she is hot only intriguing as she gives expression to her creative faculty in terpsichorean solos, but she makes a great appeal through the charm of her winsome character. Ralph Graves has the leading male role.
