TAKAPAU NOTES.

PERSONAL AND GENERAL.

An eighteen hole bogey match was played on the Takapau links on Saturday when the best cards were: —S. Ropata 1 up. J. Caughley all square, E. F. Stubs 3 down, J. Scott 4 down, S. F. Stevens 4 down.

Mr J. Maudslcy left Takapau recently to proceed to England where he intends to stay till the end of the year. Mr Webb, prior to leaving Takapau for Auckland, was presented with a parting souvenir from the Takapau Presbyterian Ladies’ Guild. Miss Fleming of Wellington, is spending the Easter holidays with the Rev. and Mrs A. Hunt.

Mr W. Cuthbertson, secretary of the North Island Sheep Dog Trial Association, is attending the popular Wairoa trials which are being held this week.
