OPAL FIELD.

A NEW DISCOVERY. (Received this day, 12.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, To-Dy. A new discovery of opals is reported from the Grawin field and led to a great influx of miners from Lightning Ridge. The present diggings are. about half-a-mile from those which were worked twenty years ago. Very valuable bulk is coming from two claims and there arc indications that the field is extensive, as the claims are not adjoining. fiilK
