WAIRARAPA FLOODS.
NO DAMAGE REPORTED. CARTERTON, To-Day. x Steady and warm rain fell throughout the Wairarapa on Saturday night. On Sunday the rivers and creeks were all bank to bank. The Waiohine crossed the road between Carterton and Grcyfown on Sunday evening to a depth ok four feet, and held traffic up for a couple of hours. The waters subsided during the night, but further rain again caused them to rise. No damage has occurred so far, and none is anticipated, The weather is still warm, and cloudy, with frequentheavy showers.
