" RULES AND REGULATIONS. _ Entries for all Running, Chopping, and Sawing and Bicycle close with the Secretary on MONDAY , 21st DECEMBER, at noon, unless otherwise specified. Handicaps will be pubished in the -Hawke’s Bay Herald” on TUESDAY, 28th December, and “Waipukurau Press” Wednesday, 29th. Competitors, when entering must forward fees and past two years’ performances. If no performances within last two years the last four performancs (or any) to be stated. Entries for all Horse Events and Post Entrv Events close at the Secretary’s Office half an hour before event. In all Events three starters or no first prize, five starters or no second prize. The Committee-reserve rue right to make any alteration to programme. Any protest must be lodged with the Secretary within .15 minutes of events, accompanied by a foe of £l.
