TOKIO INCIDENT.

BRAZILIAN AMBASSADOR FIGHTS

(Received this day, 10.20 a.m.) TOKIO, Jan. 10,

The Brazilian Ambassador and his

wife, in attempting to cross a street, cleared for the passage of the Prince Regent, fought with a policeman attempting to bar the way. The envoy severely injured the officer with a cane. The crowd, angered at the foreigner assaulting the Japanese officer, and also resenting the disturbance, almost in the presence of the Regent, swirled about the Brazilian, who was rescued with difficulty by the police, and escorted home.
