The author of "If Winter Comes” has not detracted from the high reputation gained by that very popular novel in having presented to the reading public such a thoughtful story as "One Increasing Purpose” (Hodder and Stoughton, Ltd, London, per W. S. Smart, 68, Elizabeth Street, Sydney). Mr A. S. Hutchinson’s latest story deals with the varying experiences in life, of three brothers, Andrew, Charles and Simon, and the wives of the two former, Linda and Olive, while Elizabeth Glade figures prominently in the development of an over-powering purpose. The book is well worth reading.
