The King has. given £lOO to the British National Playing Fields Association. Many people were a little amused, though not uncharitably, as they observed the crowd walking into the theatre at Hastings the other evening, where Mr Peter Fraser had been announced to speak. By a curious coincidence, the entrance displayed a huge film poster, on which was emblazoned the words, “Into the Net.” Mixed thoughts and comments were freely indulged in as people saw the audience enter.
