With a good strong southerly behind, ■ Captain . M. Isitt flew from Dunedin to Christchurch on Saturday in an hour and three-quarters in a DH9 machine. Captain Isitt had been down to Dunedin to make arrangements for flying at the opening of the Exhibition. On Saturday morning he-was in the air a couple of hours, as he spent 15 minutes taking photos before leaving Dunedin. At 10.20 he took a photograph of the Octagon, and at 12.3 he had reached the aerodrome at Soekburn. The conditions were a bit cloudy, but he set a course at a higher altitude and at a speed of 75 to 80 miles, with a strong following wind, made good time.
