SEQUEL LO STREET l AiALITV. DRIVER FOUND NOT GUILTY. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Wednesday. Stanley Alfred Rule, motor-' bus driver, was found not guilty of manslaughter arising out of the death of Mrs Watts, who was knocked down in Broadway on January 16th, and Jed from 'l'h'C jury, however, found the accused guilty on lae second charge of negligently driving a motor 'but thereby causing Mrs Watts' death. The jury expressed the opinion that a cons durable amount of the re sponsibility for the accident attached itself to the- unfortunate woman who was killed, and asked Hint this be taken into account. They rceommmended the accused to mercy on account el this and h 3 youth, Sentence was deferred until Monday.
